Autumn is embracing the evening events. The sun retreats for a semester and the nights become rich and full of activity, under the allure of nightfall. Night Shift is a love letter to the return of the long night.
The AW26 collection marks the return of longer nights, rarely ending where they began. The spiralling streets of Paris lead the way, buzzing and alive. Night Shift takes you from sunset to last call at the only bar still open. The night is yours, wherever it ends up.
This campaign acts as a chardonnay, a pallet cleansing moment of hard, fashion-focused image making amongst CALIBRE’s other live campaigns. It will bring a hard edge and variation to a strong season of coordinated pulses.
The collection introduces layered styling and heavier fabrics that the change of season demands. Australian autumn is still relatively mild, so light jackets, over-shirts, and blazers are complimented by rich knitwear and light under-layers. Contained in a palette of expensive neutrals with accents of navy and wine, this collection oozes luxury and is only enriched by the ambiance of the warm winter street light.
Night Shift has a tangible, VHS quality to the execution. Inspired by early 80’s album art, red light district signage and cinema noir, the grit and danger of nocturnal adventure is emphasised by the Parisian environment. Alive and familiar, we flirt our way along the Seine and allow the hours exploring this city to melt away.
